Well, we have arrived in Lima, Peru after a long and relatively uneventful day of traveling! The Bracco girls began the day around 7:30 as we headed off to the airport with good 'ol Denny Bracco as our chauffeur. Of course this included a quick trip to Al's Grill for his to-go cup of coffee. Dennis did almost give a biker a "door job" as he quickly opened the door without looking. Thankfully someone was watching over that situation! After going through security quite easily, my (Erin) backpack zipper decided to break. Thank goodness for O'Hare International Airport which sells almost anything you need at a very expensive price!

Charlie, Eileen, and Emmett |
We met the Minnesota group in Atlanta around 3:00 with just enough time for everyone to get a quick bite before boarding our 6 hour and 5 minute flight to Lima, Peru. It was a smooth ride with great movie options, so I think everyone was happy. Emmett probably watched a few too many movies that were inappropriate, but hey...that's what happens when your parents are sitting a cabin away. Traveler's tip: always spend a few extra bucks for a Camelback water bottle instead of Contigo if you plan to use one on an airplane. I clicked the top to take a sip and the water literally exploded all over my face, shirt, pants, and mom. Oops! Apparently it didn't appreciate the air pressure. The Kenney crew definitely took over the plane as we got up numerous times to find each other and chat. I don't think the gentleman sitting next to Eileen appreciates our tight family bond as much as we do.

I mean, why wouldn't you want to be part of this family? |
After arriving in Lima, it was smooth sailing through customs until Mary Brigh and Emily got to the front of the line. Apparently the computer was sick of entering a million Kenney passports. With only a brief moment of panic at the baggage claim when we waited and waited for Colleen's bag (which was chilling in the middle of the floor), we were ready to walk across the street to our hotel.

Success! |
When we arrived at the hotel, Bill asked everyone for their passport in order to check-in. Reluctantly, we parted with this precious document in hopes that he wouldn't lose them. Kassy's friend, Dot, arrived from Seattle thus completing our crew!

21 people and 18 complimentary drink tickets later, it's time for bed! With a long 7 hour bus ride ahead of us, we look forward to some breakfast and one last shower in the morning. For now, it's time to say buenas noches!
So glad you all arrived! Love you!
